New Year’s Eve Recipe – Halloumi & Shrimp Skewers With Lemon Butter

Grilled Halloumi Sandwich

A warm and satisfying sandwich featuring golden grilled halloumi — crispy on the outside, melty on the inside, and perfect for photos or food content.


Ingredients

  • Halloumi (cut into cubes)
  • Shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 lemon (juice + zest)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Skewers
  • Parsley for garnish
  • Instructions
  1. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add halloumi cubes and shrimp, then marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Thread halloumi and shrimp onto skewers.
  4. Melt butter in a pan with lemon zest.
  5. Grill the skewers for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  6. Brush with lemon butter and garnish with parsley.
